As the name suggests, this is a children’s museum built by the National Cultural Association to pay homage to India’s first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru. It was founded on the birthday of Jawaharlal Nehru in 1972. Jugal Srimal was the founder of the Nehru Children’s Museum. According to him, children needed to have lucrative means for their informal education since that would encourage them to have fun aside from their formal education. In order to foster curiosity and learning in children, the museum’s main goal is to build an environment that encourages them.

  • Dolls Gallery: Here are dolls from 92 different countries. A second Dolls Gallery displays dolls from 37 different countries. The dolls come in a variety of shapes and sizes and wear a variety of outfits to represent the culture and dress of various countries and societies as a symbol of globalization.
  • Mahabharata Gallery: There are five epics in the world, including the Mahabharata. One of two Indian epics that vividly describe the great battle of Kurukshetra, Judhisthira’s virtues, Durjodhana’s vices, Arjuna and Karna’s bravery, and Lord Krishna’s sermons (which form the keynotes of Madbhagabhat Geeta). This gallery illustrates Mahabharata’s complete story using dolls and scenes arranged chronologically.

  •  Ramayana Gallery: While they are busy with their formal studies, today’s children may not have time to read and learn about the Ramayana, which was written thousands of years ago. While walking through this gallery, acknowledge children about India’s epic story, ancient life, and the ideology of our forefathers. The great story of Ayodhya and Lanka, Rama and Ravana, and other events are depicted by idols arranged in sequential sequence. While exploring the Ramayana gallery, one can imagine the entire story and events of the Ramayana.
  •  Ganesh Gallery: Children’s favourite Ganpati panda idols are here in this gallery over 350 Ganesh panda idols are shown, representing and teaching kids everything about Ganesh Ji.
