Nawab Wazid Ali Sah Purani Udyan earlier known as the prince of wales zoological gardens, now known as Lucknow Zoological Garden. it was established in the year 1921 in the heart of capital city Uttar Pradesh. as for the central zoo Authority of India, it is the large zoo in India. it was established in 1921 to commemorate the visits of his royal highness, the prince of wales to Lucknow. As per Zoo authority, there are various facilities available in this zoo for the visitors such as Indian & exotic animals, Birds, Reptile, Aquarium, Nocturnal House, State Art Museum, interpretation centre etc.
The Zoo Spread over 70 acres area with full of animals and birds. visitors enjoy here with family and friend by seeing different animals and birds inside the zoo. Zoo has lots of facilities for the people such as Bal Rail, Pollution free Battery Vehicle, paddle boating, children park, canteen & food court etc. here more than 1000 animals and birds are available.
